Soul Shards es un mod que nos permite crear nuestros propios "Mob Spawners" que nos permitirán "spawnear" a los mobs que nosotros queramos y con frecuencias de generación mucho más altas que los generadores que podremos encontrar en las mazmorras de Minecraft. El mod es bastante sencillo, tan sólo necesitaremos gemas de alma, cajas de generación de mobs y una palanca para empezar a generar enemigos o animales.
Para empezar deberemos crear una figura cómo vemos en la imagen superior, utilizando piedra del End, Netherrack y un bloque de Glowstone. Con un diamante en la mano haremos clic derecho sobre el bloque de Glowstone para conseguir una gema de alma. Si matamos un enemigo con la gema de alma colocada en nuestra barra de inventario, la gema capturará la alma del animal o enemigo eliminado.
Cuando tenemos la gema llena, podremos enlazarla con una caja o jaula, para conseguir nuestro propio spawner. Ya sólo necesitamos una palanca o señal de redstone para activarlo.
