Sound Filters es un mod que añade filtros de sonido en situaciones donde, en Minecraft, simplemente no oiríamos ningún sonido, u oiríamos el mismo sonido, cuando en realidad no debería ser así. Vamos a intentar explicarlo de una forma más gráfica.
Pongamos un ejemplo, imaginamos que estamos bajo el agua. Ahí el sonido no debe ser igual que fuera del agua. Ni tras una pared debería escucharse la música o el sonido, como dentro de una casa. Otro ejemplo muy claro sería el sonido dentro de las cuevas, que no debería ser igual que al exterior, ya que existe reverberación. Pues de eso se encarga este mod, de añadir esa clase de filtros sonoros, a ciertas situaciones del juego.
