Steve’s Carts Reborn nos permite añadir funcionalidades interesantes a las vagonetas de Minecraft, haciendo que éstas sirvan para algo más que para crear montañas rusas y desplazarse por el mundo. Con este mod podremos crear piezas y mecanismos que podremos añadir a las vagonetas, haciendo que éstas adquieran funciones concretas y útiles.
El objeto principal de este mod es el «Cart Assembler», que nos permite crear y ensamblar mecanismos y piezas a nuestras vagonetas, para dotarlas de funcionalidades y autonomía. Existe una gran cantidad de piezas que podremos combinar, creando una gran variedad de vagonetas funcionales.
Por ejemplo, podremos crear vagonetas recolectoras de cultivos, capaces de plantar nuevos cultivos tras cosechar, o tuneladoras. También podremos crear y ensamblar placas solares a las vagonetas, para que éstas tengan energía constante para funcionar de forma autónoma.
