Sugi Forest es un mod que se encarga de añadir un nuevo bioma a la generación de mundos de Minecraft. Éste nuevo bioma está "inspirado en Japón", pues añade un árbol típico y muy característico de este país. El árbol en cuestión es la Cryptomeria japonica, conocido popularmente como Sugi.
En este nuevo bioma, llamado Sugi Forest, encontraremos este nuevo árbol. Del Sugi podremos extraer un nuevo tipo de madera, que podremos utilizar para hacer bloques de madera, vallas, escaleras, losas, puertas de valla y un cofre con forma de cajonera, donde podremos guardar objetos como si de un cofre normal se tratara.
