Tails es un mod que nos ofrece un menú de personalización del aspecto de nuestro personaje de Minecraft, aunque no se trata sólo de cambiar el color de la skin del personaje, si no de añadir cosas nuevas a su cuerpo, como por ejemplo colas, orejas y alas. Aunque no tienen ninguna funcionalidad, sólo se trata de un tema estético.
Para acceder al menú que permite elegir colas, alas y orejas, y personalizar su aspecto y color, tendremos que pulsar la tecla "Esc" durante la partida. A continuación pulsaremos sobre el botón "Tails Editor". En esta nueva interfaz podremos ver todo lo que nos ofrece este mod, aunque vamos a hacer un pequeño resumen.
El mod permite seleccionar diversas clases de formas de orejas, alas y colas para nuestro personaje. Una vez elegida un de ellas, podremos cambiar el color de las diversas capas o zonas que componen las alas, orejas o colas.
