Tails nos permitirá personalizar el aspecto de nuestro personaje de Minecraft, añadiéndole colas, orejas e incluso alas. Todas estas nuevas extremidades serán puramente estéticas, es decir, éstas alas no nos permitirán volar, pero si que nos permitirán tener un nuevo aspecto.
Las alas, orejas y colas podrán ser añadidas al cuerpo de nuestro personaje mediante una interfaz de personalización, que nos permitirá seleccionar varias formas de orejas, colas y alas.
Además, una vez seleccionada un tipo de extremidad, podremos cambiar los colores de las diversas partes de esa extremidad, adaptándola a los colores de nuestro skin, o no, según queramos. Para acceder a este menú de personalización tendremos que pulsar la tecla "ESC" durante una partida, y posteriormente pulsar sobre el botón "Tails Editor".
