Terrain Crystals es un mod que nos permite crear mini biomas en cualquier parte de nuestro mundo creando y utilizando unos cristales. Existe un cristal para cada tipo de bioma, aunque por ahora sólo podremos crear 12 biomas. Al utilizar un cristal de un bioma aparecerá una mini isla que estará formada por un sólo bioma. Este mod no permite crear biomas grandes, aunque siempre podemos colocar isla tras isla para crear un mismo bioma más grande.
Estos biomas creados artificialmente tendrán las mismas características que los biomas normales, es decir, aparecerán las criaturas predefinidas y será igual que un bioma normal, pero en pequeñito. Estos son los biomas que podremos crear: Taiga, Mesa, Roofed Forest, Mushroom Island, Plains, Ice Plains Spikes, Savanna, Jungle, Desert, Swamplands y además un bioma del End y otro del Nether.
