The Dalek nos sumergirá dentro del universo de la mítica serie Doctor Who, dentro de un mundo cúbico de Minecraft. El mod nos permitirá crear y utilizar la también mítica Tardis (en varias versiones y épocas), que podremos utilizar para teleportarnos a nuevos planetas (ocho en total), del mismo modo que podremos enfrentarnos a los Daleks y los Cybermen.
El mod añade una buena cantidad de contenido al juego, principalmente criaturas que los amantes de la serie reconocerán fácilmente. La gran mayoría de criaturas son Daleks, de varias épocas y Cybermen también de varias épocas, pero además podremos encontrarnos con Adiposo, K9, Time Lords, Ice Warriors, los Ángeles llorones, Autones, los Cleaners, el niño vacío, entre otros.
También contaremos con nuevos movimientos para el personaje, además de una gran cantidad de bloques y objetos basados en elementos de la serie
