The Maze World es un mod que nos permite acceder a una nueva dimensión, con los mismos biomas que encontramos de forma predefinida en Minecraft y alguno nuevo. Esta nueva dimensión se trata, en su totalidad, de un mundo laberíntico, es decir, todo es un enorme laberinto de varios tipos de biomas. En esta nueva dimensión encontraremos los enemigos habituales del juego.
Entre los nuevos biomas podemos encontrar un bioma ideal para conseguir recursos minerales, pues esta creado para eso. Incluso podremos encontrar bloques de oro, diamante y más. Otro bioma está lleno de "Lucky Blocks" dentro podremos encontrar las suerte que necesitamos o bien, darnos de frente con la mala suerte.
