The Tiron es un mod que añade un nuevo material al juego, aunque no tendremos que ir a buscarlo en las profundidades del mundo, como ocurre con otros recursos minerales, sino que podremos fabricarlo a partir de recursos ya existentes en el juego.
Para elaborar este nuevo material tendremos que colocar, en una mesa de crafteo, un lingote de hierro, una perla de Ender y una bola de Slim. Este crafteo nos dará un lingote de Tiron, que antes de poder usarse para crear armas, herramientas y piezas de armadura, tendrá que pasar por un horno.
Este nuevo material podremos utilizarlo para desarrollar un nuevo set de armadura, armas y herramientas. Tanto en el caso de las piezas de armadura, como en las armas y herramientas, las prestaciones serán un poco superiores a las que nos ofrece el diamante.
