The Ultimate Unicorn pone a nuestra disposición un total de cinco nuevos tipos de caballo mágicos en Minecraft. Estas cuatro variantes son el Unicornio, el Destrier, el Hippocamps, el Pegaso y el Nightmare (Pesadilla). Cada uno de ellos tiene características propias y habilidades especiales.
Cada uno de estos nuevos caballos mágicos podremos encontrarlos por el dominio en estado salvaje, y podrán ser domesticados. Cada caballo tiene su propio "ADN" lo que nos permitirá realizar cruces de razas para desbloquear caballos especiales, como por ejemplo el "Ultimate Unicorn".
Cada "caballo mágico" tiene su propio inventario, donde podremos añadir varios objetos que servirán para mejorar sus prestaciones o habilidades, por ejemplo, varias clases de cascos, varitas mágicas, herraduras o puntas para las alas de los Pegasos, entre otras opciones.
