The Wings of Alfheim es un mod inspirado en Sword Art Online, que se encarga de añadir la posibilidad de craftear alas con con formas y diseños variados para nuestro personaje de Minecraft. Además de lucir con nuestras nuevas alas, este mod nos permitirá surcar los cielos de Minecraft con nuestro personaje alado.
Además de alas, este mod añade un nuevo mineral al juego, que encontraremos en las minas de Minecraft. Este nuevo mineral nos permitirá desarrollar nuevas armas y herramientas. Pero no sólo eso, ya que este mineral será también necesario para poder craftear las alas de nuestro personaje.
Existen nueve modelos de alas que podremos utilizar en estos momentos. Podremos cambiar el tipo y aspecto de las alas desde la "Alfhomancy table". Cada uno de estos tipos de alas tienen una animación concreta y sonidos únicos. Además al utilizar las alas no sufriremos daño por caída.
