Water Strainer es un mod que nos permite crear filtros de agua, que nos servirán para filtrar objetos que discurren a través de las corrientes de agua. Estos filtros nos permitirán conseguir, de forma pasiva, materiales como palos, arcilla, madera, piedra, arena, pescado y pepitas de oro. Para que el sistema funcione correctamente debe haber una entrada y salida de agua, a través de los filtros.
Estos filtros de agua están compuestos de dos partes, el soporte para el filtro y el filtro. Sólo existe un tipo de soporte, mientras que podremos crear hasta nueve filtros distintos. La diferencia entre los distintos tipos de filtros, es que cuanto más caros de fabricar son, más cantidad de recursos podremos conseguir de forma pasiva.
