Computer Craft se encarga de añadir una buena cantidad de objetos tecnológicos que permitirán dar rienda suelta a la imaginación de aquellos programadores que sepan programar con el lenguaje LUA.
El mod permite crear ordenadores, con sistema operativo, juegos, sistema de archivos, editor de textos, un intérprete de LUA y varios programas predefinidos ya instalados, aunque con este mod también podremos crear nuevos propios programas, escuchar música en Minecraft, reproduciendo archivos de música desde nuevo PC físico.
El emblema desde hace mucho tiempo en este mod es "Turtle", un robot que podemos programar para que realice ciertas tareas cómo por ejemplo minar, recoger madera, ordenar que construya cosas, o cualquier cosa que un programador de LUA desee.
