Headcrumbs añade cierta probabilidad de conseguir la cabeza de cualquier animal o mob del juego al matarlo. Al igual que ocurre actualmente en Minecraft con algunos mobs. Con este mod la probabilidad de conseguir la cabeza aumenta, además de que podremos conseguir todas las cabezas, incluso las de aquellas criaturas que sean añadidas por otros mods.
Todas estas cabezas las podremos utilizar, tanto para decorar nuestras construcciones, como para ponérselas a nuestro personaje, colocándolas donde normalmente nos pondríamos el casco de la armadura. Aunque no nos aportará ningún tipo de defensa, sólo se trata de una función estética.
