Mine Painter es un mod que nos permite hacer dos cosas en Minecraft, por un lado pintar con varios colores usando telas y por el otro moldear la forma de los bloques de Minecraft, con un funcionamiento muy similar al del mod Little Blocks.
Para pintar, deberemos colocar las telas de color blanco que añade el mod, sobre alguna superficie, es decir en un lateral de un bloque, como si fuera un cuadro, por ejemplo. En ese momento, deberemos coger el pincel y los tintes básicos del juego para empezar a plasmar nuestras creaciones en los lienzos.
En cuanto a la función de moldeado de bloques, para poder llevarla a cabo, necesitaremos crear un cincel. Existen tres clases, los cinceles de hierro, de oro y de diamante. Las diferencias entre estos tipos de cinceles es el "tajo" que nuestro cincel hará sobre el bloque que estamos moldeando, así que cada uno de ellos nos permitirá un tipo de corte concreto.
