Mob Blocker es un mod que únicamente nos permitirá fabricar dos bloques, aunque resultarán muy útiles si lo que queremos es evitar que cualquier tipo de entidad entre dentro de una zona concreta. Esto nos permitirá evitar que entidades nos molesten, tanto de día como de noche.
Éstos bloques, llamados Chunk Protector y Area Protector evitarán que cualquier entidad entre dentro de su área de acción. Incluso las flechas disparadas por los esqueletos o las pociones lanzadas por las brujas, no podrán cruzar el área de acción, por lo que no nos molestará nadie dentro del área protegida por éstos bloques.
El Chunk Protector, tal y como su nombre indica, protege un área de un chunk, es decir, de 16 x 16 bloques. Su utilización es limitada, es decir, al cabo de unos días el bloque desaparece, por lo que tendremos que fabricar más de uno. Mientras que el Area Protector, no desaparecerá, ya que no se desgasta, pero su radio de acción en menor.
