Modular Routers es un mod que ha sido desarrollado para permitirnos nuevas formas de transportar objetos alrededor del mundo, y podremos hacerlo de varias formas. El mod cuanta con un elemento central, llamado "Item Router", al que podremos conectar diversos chips para añadir funcionalidades diversas y mejoras.
Con el Item Router y los diversos chips, podremos hacer cosas como por ejemplo, permitir que el Item Router interactúe de forma remota con nuestro inventario de personaje, extraer objetos de un inventario cualquiera y enviarlos a otro inventario cualquiera, romper bloques, colocar bloques y absorber objetos que se encuentran por el suelo, entre otras cosas. Además, también podremos ordenar y clasificar el inventario por medio de diversos tipos de filtros.
