NuclearCraft es un mod que nos permitirá experimentar con la energía nuclear, la física de partículas y la física cuántica en Minecraft. Con este mod instalado podremos crear aceleradores de partículas y reactores de fusión y generadores eléctricos, entre otros sistemas. Con esto, podremos generar y distribuir energía hacia aquellos sistemas que requieran de energía para funcionar.
El mod también añade nuevos recursos minerales y nuevos materiales para desarrollar los diversos objetos, mecanismos y sistemas que nos ofrece el mod, pero también para crear nuevas armas, armaduras y herramientas. El sistema de fusión está compuesto de siete combustibles, aunque podremos otras veintiocho combinaciones posibles. Por su parte, el sistema de combustible nuclear cuenta con cincuenta y dos combustibles.
Los sistemas nucleares, físicos y cuánticos que podremos construir con este mod nos permitirán generar grandes cantidades de energía, que bien podremos utilizar en las máquinas que añade este mod o por las de otros mods técnicos y tecnológicos, pues son compatibles con la energía Redstone Flux y Tesla, e incluso para Industrial Craft.
