Power Advantage nos permite automatizar todo el proceso de tratamiento de recursos minerales y almacenamiento, tanto de recursos, como de fluídos o líquidos. El mod añade varias clases de máquinas, cables y tuberías mediante las cuales podremos crear sistemas automatizados.
Este mod también añade aceite crudo y refinado, que nos servirá como combustible para las máquinas, ya que este aceite es más eficiente que el carbón predefinido en el juego. Además de aceite podremos utilizar las máquinas y tuberías para extraer, tratar y clasificar líquidos como la lava y el agua. Para almacenar líquidos podremos crear tanques de almacenamiento.
Para poner un ejemplo, utilizando las máquinas, cables y tuberías podremos crear un sistema que recoge objetos de un cofre, para enviarlos automáticamente a un horno donde quemar o cocinar. Una vez este proceso concluye el sistema extrae los objetos y mediante filtros los clasifica en unos cofres u otros, según nosotros le hayamos especificado previamente.
