Real Life es un mod que se encarga de añadir diversos conceptos que podemos encontrar en nuestra realidad, cómo por ejemplo la sed, nuestro estado de ánimo, la necesidad de ir al baño, la temperatura ambiental e incluso podremos tener dinero dentro del juego (en dólares), que conseguiremos teniendo un trabajo.

Además de diversos "conceptos realistas", el mod añade una gran cantidad de objetos decorativos y funcionales de temáticas diversas, cómo por ejemplo televisores, coches, camiones, mobiliario de interiores y exteriores, electrodomésticos, nuevos elementos comestibles, armas de fuego, bloques decorativos para ciudades, señales de tránsito, trabajadores humano, e incluso ordenadores con los que comerciar.

También cabe destacar que al igual que muchos de los objetos de este mod tienen un aspecto muy distinto a la linea gráfica de Minecraft, la apariencia de nuestro personaje de Minecraft también cambiará a una versión "más realista" por decirlo de alguna manera.
