Switch-Bow se encarga de ofrecernos una buena cantidad de opciones a la hora de atacar a cualquier entidad desde la distancia, evitando el cuerpo a cuerpo. Para ello, el mod pone a nuestra disposición un nuevo tipo de arco, una ballesta, dos variantes de carcaj, un dispensador de flechas y una estructura, formada por un altar y un pedestal, que nos permitirá transformar las flechas en flechas especiales.
En total, podremos crear y utilizar hasta 23 nuevos tipos de flecha, ocho más que en su anterior versión. El carcaj básico nos permite almacenar hasta nueve stacks de flechas, mientras que el carcaj grande nos permitirá transportar hasta dieciocho stacks de flechas. El nuevo arco permite ser encantado con "Pull-Speed" que aumenta la velocidad de disparo, mientras que la ballesta puede ser encantada con "Reduce Cooldown", que disminuye el tiempo de espera entre disparos.
