The Ultimate Unicorn es un mod que se encarga de añadir 4 tipos de caballos mágicos al juego, un Pegaso, Unicornio, Destrier y Pesadilla (Nightmare). Estos nuevos caballos no son simples mobs de Minecraft, sino que tienen comportamientos y habilidades propias, además de "ADN", lo que nos permitirá cruzar razas para que sus hijos adquieran habilidades y comportamientos de sus progenitores.
Además de esto, el mod nos permitirá craftear diversos objetos y piezas para nuestros caballos, cómo por ejemplo cascos, herraduras, varitas mágicas y puntas para alas de los Pegasos, entre otros. También a través de cruce de razas de caballos mágicos, podremos llegar a crear "caballos secretos", cómo por ejemplo el Ultimate Unicorn.
