Transport Simulator es un mod que se puede definir como la continuación de un mod que dejó de actualizarse, conocido como Minecraft Flight Simulator. Aunque en esta nueva versión, que también cuenta con un nuevo nombre, se añaden otros vehículos, como pueden ser los helicópteros y los coches, aunque seguiremos pudiendo pilotar varios tipo de avionetas.
Tanto las avionetas como los coches que podremos fabricar y pilotar con este mod, están basados en modelos reales de avionetas y coches. Por ejemplo, en estos momentos podremos fabricar y pilotar cuatro tipo de avionetas que son la MC-172, Vulcanair, PZL-P11 y Comanche. Mientras que el que nos ofrece el mod es el International Harvester Scout, conocido popularmente como Scout.
Para fabricar el coche o cualquiera de las avionetas, tendremos que construir su estructura, carcasa o carrocería, a la que después añadiremos piezas como el motor, las ruedas, las hélices, las sillas para el conductor y pasajero, el cuadro de mandos, etcétera. Incluso podremos bloquear el acceso a nuestra avioneta o coche, cerrándolo con llave.
