Cannibalism nos ofrece la posibilidad de llevar a cabo la práctica del canibalismo en Minecraft cuando no tenemos comida a mano, o simplemente por placer, eso ya a gusto de cada uno. El mod añade seis tipos de cuchillos, hechos con los materiales habituales de armas y herramientas. Estos cuchillos nos servirán para cortar pequeñas piezas de carne de nuestro personaje y utilizarlas cómo alimento en casa de emergencia.
Aunque también podremos utilizar estos cuchillos para obtener carne de otros animales, como cerdos, vacas y pollos. De hecho obtendremos más carne usando los cuchillos que la espada. También podremos conseguir carne de zombis, aldeanos e incluso de otros jugadores, si estamos jugando en modo multijugador. Para usar los cuchillos deberemos colocarnos en nuestra mano y pulsar "Shift + clic derecho del raton".
