Sin este mod, la mayoría de enemigos se generan en bloques cuyo nivel de iluminación es igual o inferior a 7. Con este mod instalado sólo se generarán enemigos en bloques cuyo nivel de iluminación sea 0, es decir sólo cuando haya oscuridad absoluta. Esto nos permitirá disfrutar de un mundo en calma, al menos en la superficie del mundo.
